Lem is a passionate educator, skilled communicator and an advocate for the rights of women and young girls particularly those from vulnerable communities.

Beyond the classroom, Lem has held leadership positions in various associations and she uses her voice to raise awareness on gender inequality, child protection and the education of the girl child
