Mosaka Elangwe Manfred is a multifaceted individual with a passion for education and community empowerment. Born in the small village of Mbonge in Cameroon’s South West Region, I have built a career that spans teaching, community leadership, and advocacy for migrant workers.
Currently, I serve as a high school mathematics teacher at Modern Knowledge School, where I work to develop responsible, global-minded students who can contribute to a more peaceful world. My commitment to education is complemented by my diverse academic background, which includes a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Security, and a certificate in Public Narrative: Leadership, Storytelling, and Action from the prestigious Harvard Kennedy School.
My leadership extends beyond the classroom. I served a four-year tenure as president of the Cameroonian Community in Bahrain, demonstrating my dedication to fostering connections among expatriates. Building on this experience, I founded the Cameroon Migrant Network, where I currently serve as CEO. This organization reflects my driving passion to support and empower migrant workers across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions.
Through my various roles and initiatives, I continue to make significant contributions to education, community building, and migrant worker advocacy, embodying my vision of creating positive change and fostering lifelong learning.
Manfred is Equally a member of the leadership team of Global Migrant Workers Network (GMWN)
